Our Mission
Our mission is to put people back in the House.
We amplify community leadership in program and policy design across Colorado and other states - by supporting local leaders, especially those rooted in lived experience, to drive systems change. Through expert consulting and coaching, we partner with nonprofits and government agencies to build equitable, community-designed solutions. We envision a future where working people can easily shape policy and programming, at every stage of the process.
Our Vision
We envision communities where working people are the architects of the programs and policies that affect their lives. Where those most historically marginalized are centered in decision-making and get access to lead, not just participate in creating laws, programs, and systems that reflect their realities and aspirations.
Our vision is a radically inclusive policy process where everyday people shape and lead the change their communities deserve.
Meet Kayla
“I came to this work as a young single mom with no support, wanting desperately to systematically change the circumstance of families like mine at a Head Start center. Hundreds of working parents don’t have the proximity of power and the formal knowledge to influence legislation or are rarely offered leadership positions because of our expertise. This pushed me to dive head-first into the world of advocacy and policy with the mission to build the pipelines for real working Coloradans - that didn’t exist for me. I went off to create leadership programs for other organizations and pivoted to my own business, building social impact for and by working class people”.
15+ years of experience building community design with working people.
Project Expertise: Facilitation, strategic planning, program management, event planning, lobbying, policy advocacy, legislation design, coalition facilitation, results based facilitation, leadership development training, designing stakeholder managing for policy design, motivation for the working class to fight back - local, state and federal.
Open for strategic planning, coalition convening, legislative, policy work and lobbying contracts.
Often I work with organizers and new consultants as subcontractors to being fresh, and wise expertise to our projects.
